What Is Dental Insurance?

This type insurance works the same as health insurance. It helps patients pay for both preventive and restorative care. Most plans offer coverage for routine cleaning, exams and other types of preventive care. Most plans also offer varying levels of coverage for fillings, root canals, extractions and with some plans, orthodontic treatment. Your co-pay depends on the type of plan you choose, how much your deductible is and whether the service is considered preventive or not. It’s important to know what your plan covers before seeing your dentist. While some plans offer only preventive coverage, others are more comprehensive.

What type of coverage does Miracle Smile accept?

Many insurers do not offer cosmetic dentistry coverage, as they consider the procedures elective (we disagree!).  At Miracle Smile, we offer several options for co-payments and out-of-network payment plans.

Payment Plans

Dental payment plans are offered independently of insurance, if your insurer does not cover all the expenses. They are usually used to cover large procedures, such as bridges or implants. At Miracle Smile, we accept the following:
  • Lending Club
  • Care Credit
  • Bank of America Financing (we have a direct representative that we will put you in touch with)
  • All major credit cards

Miracle Smile Dental Plan:

No dental insurance? Relax! We’ve got you covered. For $550 a year (payable as $45.83 a month) the Miracle Smile plan offer coverage for 2 routine exams, 2 dental cleanings, x-rays, intraoral pictures and screening procedures. Also you will benefit from 20% reduction in fees for cosmetic dentistry services, including Zoom whitening and $1000 OFF in full treatment of clear Invisalign

How Does it Work?

At Miracle Smile, we’re so happy you’ve found us; but finding the right dentist is only one piece of the puzzle – we want you to have complete transparency when it comes to your coverage. It’s always a good idea to verify benefits prior to making your appointment, we’re just a phone call away! Our office can also call your insurer to clarify benefits. Your insurance company can provide a breakdown of benefits and can tell you how much you will need to pay. Your financial obligation will depend on the type of treatment, amount of coverage and whether your dentist is in or out of network. At Miracle Smile, we want our patients to feel at ease and confident with our services. If you still have questions about insurance coverage, contact us today for more information.
